Are fishnet stockings and crystals appropriate for a glamour shoot?
I’m confused on the difference in wardrobe for glamour and for fashion photo shoots. Is glamour strictly dresses with heels? I’m doing my first glamour shoot soon but I’m not sure what types of clothes I’m supposed to wear. I need ideas please. I don’t wanna sound dumb by asking the photographer a million questions and waste his time. I’ve already asked a lot of questions.
Here’s my idea and let me know if it’s appropriate for a glamour shoot: Black wifebeater that has lace on the front and ties up the front like a corset, fishnet gloves with the fingers cut off, fishnet stockings, a skirt, and heels. I have a skirt that reads “miss b!+ch” on the back…dunno if I should wear that or if that would be more of a fashion thing.
I also have a Swarovski crystal cuff that I was thinking about wearing on my wrist…but not with the above outfit. I think the photographer is thinking of doing a shoot by a pool or garage studio.
Beware of a predator carrying a camera.
The photographer should tell you what look and what they want to show, which tells me there is a loud bell going off in my head saying “watch out, scam here.” Style is a movable feast served up by fashion moguls and designers. If the image is to be about you as a model, then what compliments you is what the photographer should request. If it is about the fashion, look at what is “hip” and fill in with what you have that fits that mode.
