Baselworld 2010: Omega Seamaster Ploprof 1200M White Dial Edition
Water resistant to 600 meters, the original Omega Seamaster Ploprof was first released in 1970. Its name “Ploprof” is the abbreviation of French words “Plongeur Professionnel”, means professional diver.
This month on BaselWorld 2010, Omega Seamaster Ploprof 1200M White Dial edition finally unveiled. As the advanced version of Omega Seamaster Ploprof 1200M, which released in last year and as its name suggests it can amazingly water resistant to 1,200 meters, the brand new Seamaster Ploprof 1200M White Dial has got all features of Omega diver watches and moreover, more excellent design: timeless white bezel and dial, oversied orange minute hand, signature orange anodized bezel-release security button at 2 o’clock, screw-in crown at 9 o’clock position under protective buffer, white rubber strap and brushed mesh “sharkproof” watch band. All these make this Omega Seamaster Ploprof white edition so chracteristic.
Contains Co-Axial calibre 8500 selfwinding movement, Omega Seamaster Ploprof white edition has high accuracy. There is a bezel-release security button at 2 o’clock, press it can rotate the bezel, stop press it the bezel will be locked in position, this avoid accidentally shifting of bezel. Automatic helium escape valve at 4 o’clock position can protect the watch from being destroyed during decompression. Screw-in crown at 9 o’clock position under protective buffer can prevent any inadvertent manipulation. Besides, oversized orange minute hand and white bi-directional locking bezel with chrome-coated Arabic numerals not only designed for beauty but also providing high legibility contrast with white dial.
